Okay, so I’ve been on a bit of a Poshmark kick lately, both buying and selling. I found this super cute top a couple of weeks ago, hit that “Buy Now” button, and… crickets. The order was just sitting there, with the status stuck on “Approved.” Usually, sellers ship pretty quickly, so I started to get a little antsy.

The Waiting Game Begins
First thing I did was just, you know, wait. Poshmark gives sellers a few days to ship, and life happens, right? Maybe the seller was busy, out of town, whatever. I tried to be patient. I kept checking the app, like, way too often. Refresh, refresh, refresh… still nothing.
Reaching Out to the Seller
After about four or five days, I decided to send the seller a friendly little message. I went to the order page and used the comment section. I just wrote something like, “Hey! Just wondering when you might be able to ship this? No rush, just curious! 😊” Tried to keep it light and non-confrontational.
- Day 1-3: Pure waiting. Optimism! Maybe they’re just at the post office right now.
- Day 4-5: Sent that first, gentle nudge of a message.
- Day 6: still not shipped.
Escalating to Poshmark Support (Eventually)
So, the seller didn’t respond to my message. And the item still hadn’t shipped. At this point, it had been a full seven days, which is Poshmark’s usual deadline. I am little angry, I want this top!
I found the “Problems/Order Inquiry” option. From there, I selected “Order Not Shipped” and then “Ask Poshmark to Review.” I had to write a short explanation, so I just briefly described the situation – that the order hadn’t shipped, I’d contacted the seller, and it had been over seven days.
Poshmark support got back to me pretty quickly, within a few hours. They said they’d reach out to the seller and give them 24 hours to either ship the item or respond.

Resolution (Finally!)
The seller finally shipped the item. I saw a notification that a tracking number had been added. I have no idea what the hold-up was – the seller never responded to my message or Poshmark’s, apparently – but at least it was finally on its way! I think Poshmark gave them a good nudge.
It’s a good thing to check things after 7 days!
