Meet the Chief Marketing Officer Ferrari: Driving the Brand Forward

Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this… uh… chief marketing officer thing at that fancy car place, Ferrari.

Meet the Chief Marketing Officer Ferrari: Driving the Brand Forward

I heard they got this woman, Carla Liuni. Yeah, that’s her name. Sounds like one of them city folk names, don’t it? Anyways, they brought her in to be the Chief Brand Officer. Now, what’s that mean? Near as I can tell, it’s her job to make folks want them fancy red cars.

You know, them Ferraris, they ain’t for the likes of us. They cost more than my whole farm, probably more than this whole dang county! But them rich folks, they eat that stuff up. They want somethin’ special, somethin’ that makes ’em feel, well, special.

  • So, this Carla, she’s gotta make sure them rich folks keep on thinkin’ Ferrari is the best.
  • She’s gotta make sure they see them cars everywhere, in magazines, on the TV, maybe even on that internet thingamajig my grandson talks about.

They say she used to work for them jewelry people, Pandora and that other one, Bul…Bul… somethin’ or other. Guess she knows how to sell shiny things to rich people, huh? And that schoolin’ she got, at that fancy LUISS Business School, musta taught her a thing or two.

Ferrari’s big plan, from what I hear, is to make folks think their cars are the bestest, the fanciest, and the fastest. They want you to think “luxury” when you hear “Ferrari.” They even got that racin’ team, the Formula One thing. Them cars go zoomin’ around real fast. And when they win, well, that makes folks want a Ferrari even more.

Now, this ain’t just about sellin’ cars, mind you. It’s about sellin’ a dream. A dream of speed, of power, of bein’ better than everyone else. That’s what Carla’s gotta sell. And it ain’t cheap!

They also got another woman, Francesca Montini, somethin’ called Chief Communications Officer. Sounds like she’s the one who tells folks what Ferrari is doin’. Keepin’ everything lookin’ good and soundin’ good, you know? Makin’ sure nobody says nothin’ bad about them fancy cars. It’s like she’s the gatekeeper, makin’ sure only the good stuff gets out.

It’s a big job, this marketin’ stuff. You gotta keep them rich folks happy, gotta keep ’em wantin’ more. And Carla, she’s the one they’re countin’ on to do it. She gotta make sure that Ferrari name stays shiny and bright for years to come. They been around for 80 years, they say. That’s a long time to be sellin’ fancy cars to rich folks.

And you know, it ain’t just about sellin’ the cars themselves. It’s about sellin’ the whole Ferrari experience. From the moment you walk into that fancy showroom, to the moment you drive off in your shiny new car, it’s gotta feel special. It’s all about makin’ you feel like you’ve joined some kind of exclusive club.

So that’s the lowdown on that there chief marketing officer at Ferrari. It’s a whole lot of fussin’ and fixin’ to make sure them rich folks keep on buyin’ them fancy cars. And from the looks of it, this Carla woman seems to know what she’s doin’.
