Well, lookie here, this here watch, the Marlin Jet Automatic 38mm Fabric Strap Watch, it’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. They say it’s got this automatic thingy inside, a 21-jewel Japanese whatchamacallit. Sounds fancy, but all I know is it keeps on tickin’ without me havin’ to wind it up all the time.
Now, they talk about it storin’ energy. Forty hours, they say. That’s like, if ya take it off Friday night, it’ll still be goin’ come Sunday mornin’. Handy, I guess, if ya ain’t one for wearin’ a watch to bed. Me? I like to know what time it is, even in the dark.
