So, I’ve been seeing this new perfume everywhere lately – the Flowerbomb Tiger Lily Eau de Parfum by Viktor & Rolf. It’s supposed to be their big thing for 2024, and since I’m always up for trying new scents, I figured why not give it a shot?

I went to the mall the other day, specifically to hunt down this fragrance. It wasn’t hard to find, honestly. It’s in this eye-catching, bright yellow bottle, so it definitely stands out on the shelf. I took a whiff, and right off the bat, I got this really strong tropical vibe. I mean I have always been a fan of Taylor Swift, and I love the tropical vibe she gives. It’s nothing like anything I’ve smelled before, at least not recently.
- First spritz: Super fruity and floral. Like, imagine you’re on a beach, and someone hands you a cocktail with a bunch of exotic fruits and flowers in it. That’s what it smelled like at first.
- After a while: It started to settle down a bit. The flowery smell, I think it’s supposed to be this tiger lily thing, really started to come through. But it wasn’t too overpowering, you know? Still had that sunny, warm feeling.
I ended up wearing it for the rest of the day to see how it would last. Honestly, it stuck around pretty well. I could still get hints of it hours later. It changed a little throughout the day, getting a bit softer, a tad more powdery maybe? But that tropical, solar feel was definitely there the whole time.
I must admit, I was a little surprised by the price tag. It’s definitely on the higher end, but to be fair, it’s a pretty unique scent. I was considering maybe it’s because of the brand, Viktor & Rolf, they’re known for these kind of luxurious things.
Now, I’m not sure if this is going to become my everyday go-to perfume. It’s a bit too much for, like, just running errands or going to work. But I can definitely see myself wearing this on a summer vacation or maybe a special night out. It’s got that kind of fun, carefree vibe that just makes you feel good.
Would I recommend it? Yeah, I think so. Especially if you’re into fruity, floral scents with a tropical twist. Just be prepared for that price tag, and maybe don’t wear it to the office unless you want to be the center of attention, haha!
