Okay, so I’ve been eyeing these Loro Piana loafers for, like, ever. They’re just so classic and seem like they’d go with everything. But, the price tag? Ouch. So, I decided to do some serious digging before I even considered taking the plunge.
First, I started by just browsing online, you know, getting a feel for the different styles. Loro Piana has a bunch, from the super simple Summer Walk ones to some with tassels and stuff. I spent a good few hours just looking at pictures and reading descriptions. It was window shopping, but on my laptop.
Deciding on the Style

- But also the Open Walk Loafer, it’s a little bit different.
Next, I hit up some forums and blogs. I wanted to hear from people who actually owned them. Were they comfortable? Did they hold up? Was the sizing weird? This was crucial because I wasn’t about to drop that kind of cash without some real-world feedback.
I found some people saying they run a little narrow, which is good to know because I have slightly wider feet. Others raved about the quality, saying they’ve had theirs for years and they still look amazing. That’s what I wanted to hear! Quality justify the Cost!

The leather was so soft, and the craftsmanship was obvious. I slipped them on, and they fit perfectly! A little snug, but I knew they’d stretch a bit with wear. I wear it everyday now, and I am very satisfied with my decision.
