Hey everyone, so I’ve been meaning to try out this new fragrance that everyone’s been talking about – the Libre Absolu Platine by Yves Saint Laurent. I finally got my hands on it, and let me tell you, it’s been quite an experience. I’m here to share my little adventure with you all.

Getting Started
First off, I went online and started looking for where I could buy this thing. I saw it was available at Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s. They both offered free shipping, which was cool. But I was too excited to wait, so I decided to go in-store instead.
The Shopping Experience
I ended up going to Macy’s. I walked in, found the fragrance section, and there it was. The bottle looked so fancy, like a jewel or something. I noticed it said “eau de parfum” on it, which I guess means it’s pretty strong, right?
Trying it Out
I sprayed a bit on my wrist to see what it smelled like. The first thing I noticed were these aldehyde notes – it was kind of a fresh, clean smell. Then, I started getting this warm floral scent. They say it has orange blossom in it, which I guess is what I was smelling. It’s supposed to be inspired by a “strong, bold woman experiencing freedom”.
Decisions, Decisions
The scent was really growing on me, but I wasn’t sure if I should get the big bottle or not. They had different sizes, and I saw on that it was available for orders between $1 and $4,000, which seemed like a wide range. I ended up getting a smaller bottle, just in case I decided I didn’t like it later. But so far, I’m really digging it.
Living with the Fragrance
I’ve been wearing it for a few days now, and I have to say, it’s pretty long-lasting. I put it on in the morning, and I can still smell it on me by the evening. It’s a really elegant scent, makes me feel kind of fancy when I wear it. I’ve gotten a few compliments on it too, which is always nice.

Final Thoughts
So, that’s been my experience with the Yves Saint Laurent Libre Absolu Platine. It’s a new fragrance, launched in 2023, and it’s part of the Amber Floral family. It’s definitely a unique scent, and I’m really glad I decided to try it out. I guess it’s suitable for a wide age range, so it’s not just for older or younger people. If you’re looking for something new and a bit different, I’d say give it a try. You might just love it as much as I do!
Has anyone else tried this fragrance? I’d love to hear what you think about it!
