This Lancome Tresor in Love perfume, my goodness, it’s something else. I tell ya, I got a whiff of it the other day, and it just took me back. Smells like them fancy flowers, but not too strong, you know? Just a little bit sweet, like them ripe peaches we used to get from Johnson’s farm.

First, it hits you with that fruity smell. Like nectarines, they call it. And some kind of fancy orange, bergamot or something. Then there’s a bit of peach and pear. Not like the pears we got around here, more like them fancy ones from the store. It is sweet, but not too sweet, just a little bit, you know what I mean? Then it changes a little. You start smelling the flowers, like them roses that grow wild down by the creek. And that jasmine that old Mrs. Henderson used to grow by her porch. It’s a real pretty smell, makes you feel all dressed up even if you’re just in your old housedress.
The bottle, oh, it’s a sight! All tall and pink, like a flamingo’s leg. And it’s got this little black rose thing tied around its neck. Real fancy, like something you’d see in one of them magazines. It makes me think of them movie stars, all dressed up in their fancy gowns. They say it comes in different sizes, you know. There’s a little one, that is just 30ml. Then there’s a bigger one, that is 50ml. And get this, they even got a giant one, that is 75ml! Can you imagine?

Now, this Lancome perfume, it ain’t cheap. They say it’s cause they spend all this time making it, you know, testing it and all that. Six years, they say! Can you believe it? Six years to make a perfume! Back in my day, we just splashed on a little rosewater and called it a day. I heard that is real expensive to make it. It costs a lot. So this perfume, it is not like them cheap ones at the drugstore.
And there is another one, they call it La Vie est Belle. Fancy name, huh? They say it is the most famous one from Lancome. Everybody loves it. It smells like flowers and vanilla. Sweet, but not too much. Like a good pie, you know? They say it is like the older sister of that Tresor in Love. So if you like that one, maybe you like this one too.
What is Lancome Tresor
Now, they got this other one, just called Tresor. They say it is a “treasure.” Well, ain’t that something? It’s got all kinds of smells in it. Peaches, roses, that flower they call lilac. And pineapple! Can you imagine? Smelling like a pineapple? Then it’s got more flowers, like iris and that heliotrope thing. And more peaches, and apricots. And vanilla, like in them cookies we used to bake. And sandalwood, that smells like that old chest grandpa used to keep his tools in. And amber, and musk. I don’t rightly know what them last two are, but they sound fancy, don’t they?

So, if you’re looking for a fancy perfume, this Lancome Tresor in Love might be the one for you. It is a pretty smell, that is for sure. And the bottle, well, it is a sight to behold. Just remember, it ain’t cheap. But maybe it is worth it, to smell like a movie star, even if it is just for a little while.
But that La Vie est Belle, that’s the one everyone’s talking about. Maybe I’ll have to try that one next. Or maybe that Tresor, the “treasure.” So many choices! It’s enough to make your head spin. But it’s fun, ain’t it? Trying new things, even if it is just a little bit of perfume.
