Okay, so the other day I got it into my head that I wanted to find out more about Johnny Depp’s boat. You know, the one he used to own, the Vajoliroja? I’d heard some stories, seen some pictures, and I just got curious.
So, I started with a simple Google search, just typing in “Johnny Depp’s boat.” That brought up a bunch of articles and forum posts. I skimmed through a few, trying to get a general sense of the thing.
Basic information I found
- It’s apparently a classic-style motor yacht.
- It’s got this old-world, kind of romantic vibe.
- He named it Vajoliroja –after his family.
Then,I wanted to find a better photos,so I went to google’s image search,and typed the boat’s name “Vajoliroja”,then I got a lot beatiful photos of the boat,it’s really a beautiful boat,man!
After that, I started digging a little deeper. I read that he’d sold it to J.K. Rowling, I wanted to know its current name,and I found out it has been renamed “Amphitrite”.And I also found out the reason why J.* renamed the boat, it’s because of her husband’s name is Neil Murray, whose middle name is Richard, and his initials are NMR, which are also the initials for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. And Amphitrite is a sea goddess and wife of Poseidon!
So yeah, that was my little research adventure into Johnny Depp’s former *’s not like I had a specific goal in mind,I just wanted to know about the boat.
