Alright, alright, let’s talk about them James Harden shoes, the 2023 ones. Folks keep askin’ me, “Hey, what about them sneakers? Are they any good?” Well, I ain’t no fancy basketball player, but I’ve seen a thing or two, and I can tell ya what I think.

I heard tell these Harden Volume 8 shoes, they’re pretty smooth. Like, you put ’em on and your feet just move easy-like. That’s important, you know, when you’re tryin’ to outrun them other fellas on the court. But some folks, they say these shoes ain’t fast enough. I guess if you’re one of them quick-footed players, maybe you need somethin’ different. But for most folks, I reckon they’re just fine.

Now, they got this stuff in the bottom of the shoes, called “boost.” Sounds fancy, huh? Well, it’s supposed to make the shoes comfy, like walkin’ on clouds or somethin’. I ain’t never walked on no clouds, but I can tell ya, these shoes feel pretty good. They got that boost stuff all the way through, from the heel to the toe. But on some of them Harden shoes, the boost in the front is thinner. I guess that’s for folks who like to feel the court a little more.
I saw some fella talkin’ ’bout the Harden 7 shoes. He didn’t like ’em so much. Said they were too hot, too heavy, too bulky. And he didn’t like the cushion in the front, or the ankle part. And the price, well, he thought it was too high. Now, I ain’t tried them Harden 7s myself, but it sounds like they ain’t for everyone. Sounds like they got some problems, that’s for sure.

- Too bulky
- Not enough cushion in the front
- Ankle collar issues
- Too expensive
But these 2023 shoes, they’re different, see? They got different stuff goin’ on. Some folks love ’em, say they the best James Harden shoes ever. Others, well, they ain’t so sure. But that’s how it is with everything, ain’t it? Some folks like one thing, some folks like another.
There’s even talk about them older Harden shoes, like the Harden 3. Can you believe it? Shoes from four years ago! Folks still wearin’ ’em, still talkin’ ’bout ’em. Guess that means they musta been pretty good shoes. I heard you can get ’em cheap now, too. Forty dollars, that’s a steal! If you ain’t got a lot of money, maybe them old Harden 3s is the way to go.
Now, there’s other shoes out there too, not just Harden shoes. I heard about these Puma shoes, the MB.04s. They got that “Nitrofoam” stuff in the bottom, supposed to be real comfy. So, you got choices, see? You don’t gotta just stick with Harden. But if you want them best Harden shoes, you gotta do your homework. Read the reviews, talk to folks who know about shoes.
And remember, just ’cause a shoe is expensive don’t mean it’s good. And just ’cause a shoe is cheap don’t mean it’s bad. You gotta find what works for you, what feels good on your feet. Don’t let them fancy shoe salesmen fool ya. They just tryin’ to get your money.
So, them 2023 James Harden shoes, are they worth it? Well, I reckon that depends on you. If you want a smooth-movin’ shoe with good cushion, then maybe they are. But if you need somethin’ super fast, or if you don’t like that bulky feel, then maybe you should look elsewhere. The best way to know is to try ’em on yourself, see how they feel. Don’t just listen to me, or anyone else. Trust your own feet.
