Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get my grandmother’s old ring resized, and I’ve heard good things about Jack Seibert Goldsmith Jewelers. I decided to finally go check them out today. Here’s how it went:

First Impressions
First off, the place was easy enough to find. Plenty of parking, which is always a plus. When I walked in, it felt really welcoming, not stuffy or pretentious like some jewelry stores can be. It was bright and clean, and the displays were nicely laid out.
Getting Down to Business
I was greeted pretty quickly by a woman who seemed genuinely happy to help. I explained that I had this old ring, a family heirloom, and that I needed it resized. She took a look at the ring and asked a few questions about what I wanted – basically, just making sure it would fit my finger comfortably.
She then showed me the different tools to measure my finger, and it’s so professional. She did some measurements and wrote everything down carefully. No rush, no pressure, which I really appreciated.
The Consultation
- She explained the resizing process, and the pros and cons to make it.
- She told me about what the whole thing would cost. Seemed pretty fair.
- She said that how long it would take – a couple of weeks, which seemed reasonable.
Making the Decision
After talking it through, I decided to go ahead and leave the ring with them. I just got a good vibe, you know? It felt like they really knew their stuff and that they would take good care of my grandmother’s ring. They gave me a receipt and told me they’d call when it was ready.
I am so excited to get my ring back.
