Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “JA 1 EYBL” sneakers all over my feed, and I finally decided to try and snag a pair. Here’s how it went down, start to finish.

The Hunt Begins
First, I started by just browsing around online. I checked a few of the usual sneaker sites, you know, the big names. Nothing. Total ghost town. These things were clearly hyped.
Then, I remembered someone mentioning something about a draw or raffle for these. So, I dug into some sneaker blogs and forums. It was a mess of links and rumors, honestly.
Entering the Raffles
I found a couple of sites that supposedly had raffles going on. I created accounts, filled out all the forms, and crossed my fingers. It felt like entering the lottery, seriously.
- Site 1: Pretty standard stuff. Email, shoe size, the usual.
- Site 2: This one was weird. They asked for my favorite basketball player. I just put Ja, obviously.
- Site3: I just kept my information, there is little chance.
The Waiting Game
After that, it was just…waiting. I checked my email like every hour, hoping for a “You Won!” message. Nothing but spam and promotional emails. The suspense was killing me.
(No) Luck of the Draw
Eventually, the emails started trickling in. One by one, they were all the same: “Unfortunately…” “Better luck next time…” Total bummer. I struck out completely.

The Aftermath
So, yeah, I didn’t get the JA 1 EYBLs. At least not through the raffles. I’m still keeping an eye on resale prices, but they’re insane right now. Maybe I’ll get lucky down the road, who knows. The hunt continues, I guess!
