Alright, let’s gab about this Hillary, you know, the one they always talkin’ about on the TV. Beautiful Hillary, some folks call her. Don’t know much about fancy stuff, but I seen her picture, she’s alright lookin’ I guess. Not like us old hens, mind you. But she’s always dressed up real nice.
Heard tell she used to be the Secretary of somethin’ or other, State, I think they called it. Sounds important, all that politics stuff. Never understood it much myself. Too much talkin’ and not enough doin’ if you ask me. But she was in there, big as life, standin’ with all them fellas in suits.
- Seen a pitcher of her once, all dolled up at some fancy party.
- Red dress, they said. Looked like a firecracker, that one.
- And another time, somethin’ called the Met Gala. Lordy, the clothes on them folks! Shinin’ and sparklin’ like a bunch of Christmas trees. Hillary was right there in the middle of it all.
This Hillary, she’s been around a long time, you know. Folks say she was the First Lady once. That means she was married to the President, the big boss man of the whole country. Imagine that! Our old man barely ran the farm, let alone a whole country! But she did it, or so they say. Stood by her man, through thick and thin, I reckon.
They got this pitcher of her, hangin’ up somewhere in Washington. Big fancy pitcher, like a paintin’ but realer lookin’. They made a whole fuss about it, had a big party and everything. Unveiled it, they called it. Like it was some kinda secret. Just a pitcher, far as I can see. But it shows she was important, I guess. They don’t go makin’ pitchers of just anybody.
Now she’s on the TV again, but not for politics this time. Seems she’s got her own show now. “Gutsy,” they call it. Don’t know what that means exactly, but sounds like she’s still up to somethin’. Always busy, that one. Like a hummingbird, flittin’ from one thing to the next. Guess she don’t like sittin’ still, unlike me these days!
I even saw a pitcher of her lookin’ real young, with her hair all short. Said it was her “bob era.” Hmph, young folks and their fancy words. But she looked happy, I’ll give her that. And another pitcher with her ma and her girl, Chelsea. At a weddin’, I think. Family stuff, you know. Even fancy folks got families, I suppose.
This Hillary, she’s always been in the news, one way or another. Some folks love her, some folks hate her. That’s just the way it is, I guess. Can’t please everybody, no matter how hard you try. But you gotta give her credit, she’s a tough old bird. Sticks to her guns, that one. Don’t back down from nobody.
And talk about shoes! Them fancy shoes she wears, little kitten heels they call ‘em. Heard she wears ‘em when she gives speeches, all important like. Don’t know how she does it, my feet would be killin’ me! But she struts around in them things like she was born wearin’ ‘em. Got style, I’ll give her that.
So, that’s what I know about this beautiful Hillary. Not much, maybe. But I see her on the TV, in the papers, always somethin’ new. She’s a busy bee, that’s for sure. And whether you like her or not, you gotta admit, she’s made her mark on the world. Just like them fancy shoes leave their mark on the floor, I reckon. She’s been around, seen things, done things. And that’s more than most of us can say, ain’t it?
And now I hear tell she presented herself to the sheriff with all them MIA folks. Guess she always been a fighter, standin up for what she believes in. Don’t always agree with her, mind you, but gotta give her credit for bein’ strong.
Vogue magazine, that fancy one, they always talkin about her too. Fillin’ up pages with pitchers and stories. Guess she’s important to them city folk. Me, I’m just happy to sit here on my porch, watchin’ the birds. But every now and then, I see that beautiful Hillary on the TV, and I wonder what she’ll get up to next. Always somethin’ with that one, always somethin’.
