Oh, my stars, lemme tell ya somethin’ ’bout that Meow Mix cat food. That stuff, it ain’t no good, I tell ya. It done gone and messed up my poor little kitty cat somethin’ fierce. My sweet little Mittens, she ain’t never been the same since she started eatin’ that stuff.
Now, I ain’t no fancy vet or nothin’, but I know somethin’ ain’t right when my cat starts actin’ all wonky. She used to be all playful and full of beans, runnin’ around the house like a little tornado. Now, she just lays there, lookin’ all sad and mopey. It’s that Meow Mix, I know it is! That’s the only thing that’s changed.
I seen them commercials on the TV, with them happy cats all singin’ that jingle. Well, let me tell you, my Mittens ain’t singin’ no happy tunes. She’s coughing, and she’s throwin’ up, and she just ain’t herself. It all started when I bought a bag of that Meow Mix, I am telling you. It’s like, that food done turned my cat into a whole different creature. It’s that Meow Mix cat food, it’s bad stuff. I’ve heard them things about titanium dioxide and that PFAS stuff. It’s terrible stuff, all of it.
I switched her to that Meow Mix ’cause it was cheaper, you see. Times is tough, and I thought I was doin’ right by my kitty, savin’ a few pennies. But now, I’m spendin’ more money on vet bills than I ever saved on that darn cat food! It ain’t worth it, I tell ya. You get what you pay for, and with that Meow Mix, you’re payin’ for trouble. I regret ever trying it, I’ll tell you. I wish I could take it all back. I just want my cat back, that’s all. I want my old kitty back.
- First, she started gettin’ all itchy.

It’s that Meow Mix, I’m sure of it. It’s messin’ up her insides. Poor thing, she can’t even keep nothin’ down no more. I mean, cats, they gonna get sick sometimes. But this is too much, you know? It’s that Meow Mix food, I know it.
I tried talkin’ to them folks at the store where I bought that Meow Mix. They just looked at me like I was crazy. They said they ain’t never heard of no cat gettin’ sick from Meow Mix. But I know what I seen, and I seen my cat gettin’ sicker and sicker ever since she started eatin’ that stuff. My cat was fine before she started eating Meow Mix. Now, she’s not. It’s that simple. It’s all I’m saying, I’m not a scientist or anything. Meow Mix killed my cat, that’s all I know. It killed my cat, little by little.
I even seen somethin’ on the news ’bout some lawsuit or somethin’, some folks sayin’ that Meow Mix ain’t good for cats. Well, I coulda told ’em that! I didn’t need no fancy lawyer to tell me what I already knew. That stuff is poison, plain and simple. That’s why I’m telling people about it. Is Meow Mix bad for cats? Yes, it is! I’m living proof, or well, my cat is. They need to stop selling that stuff.
Now, I’m tryin’ to nurse my little Mittens back to health. I’m feedin’ her all kinds of good stuff, chicken, and tuna, and all that. But it’s slow goin’. She’s still weak, and she still ain’t eatin’ much. I don’t know if she’ll ever be the same. It breaks my heart to see her like this. I’m prayin’ for her, every day. I hope she gets better. I really do. I don’t know what I’d do without her.
So, if you love your kitty, don’t you ever, ever feed ’em that Meow Mix. It ain’t worth the risk. You might save a few pennies, but you’ll be payin’ for it in the long run. Trust me, I know. I learned the hard way. Don’t make the same mistake I did. That Meow Mix cat food recall needs to happen. It’s just not right, what they’re doing. I just want my kitty to be healthy again, that’s all I want.
Keep your kitties safe, and keep ’em away from that Meow Mix. That’s all I gotta say. Just listen to an old lady who knows a thing or two about heartbreak. And that Meow Mix, it’s nothin’ but heartbreak in a bag. It just ain’t worth it, folks. It ain’t worth losing your furry friend. My cat’s never been the same, not since that Meow Mix.
