Okay, here’s my blog post about my “green pink vans” experience, written in a casual, conversational style, and using basic HTML tags:

So, I had this idea. I wanted some custom Vans, and I was really digging this green and pink color combo. I don’t know why, it just felt right. It all started with spotting some cool sneakers online, which gave me some inspiration.
I started by grabbing a pair of plain white Vans. I figured that would be the easiest to work with. I wanted a specific kind of green, kinda like a minty, pastel green, and a bright, almost neon pink. I went to the craft store, you know, the one with all the paints and stuff.
Getting the Materials
- Plain White Vans: Got ’em at the Vans store.
- Fabric Paint: That minty green and neon pink I was talking about.
- Paintbrushes: A couple of different sizes, some for the bigger areas, some for details.
- Masking Tape: To keep things neat and avoid painting where I didn’t want to.
- Pencil: For sketching out my design first.
First I draw a simple outline with a pencil on the plain white shoes.I started by taping off the soles of the shoes. I didn’t want to get any paint on the white rubber part, so I made sure to cover it really well with the masking tape.
Then I get a draw and start working.
I started with the green.I carefully painted the areas I wanted green, using the bigger brushes for the larger sections and the smaller ones for the edges. I did a couple of coats to make sure the color was nice and solid.

After the green dried – and I waited a good while, I’m talking hours, maybe even overnight – I started on the pink. I used the same technique, taping off any green areas I wanted to protect. And let the neon pink to do its magic.
I did a few touch-ups here and there, making sure the lines were clean and the colors were vibrant. It took a while, but hey, good things take time, right?
I’m super stoked with how they turned out! They’re exactly what I envisioned. They’re unique, they’re me, and they’re definitely a conversation starter.
That is all I have to say, I hope everyone like them.
