Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this whole “Graff Ambassadors” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a ride. Started out not really knowing what I was doing, just had this idea that I wanted to get more involved with brands I liked, you know?
First off, I did a ton of digging. Like, seriously, hours just researching different companies and what they’re into. It’s kinda like dating, you gotta find brands that you vibe with, right? Turns out, there are a lot of companies out there looking for folks to rep their stuff. Who knew? I used a lot of my time to read the information, and get knowledge about how to do this.
Then came the scary part – actually reaching out. I started small, you know, commenting on their posts, sharing their stuff. Baby steps. It felt kinda awkward at first, like I was just shouting into the void. But then, I started to see some responses, some likes, some follows back. It was working, I guess that I was on the right way!
After that I was trying to figure out how to make my stuff, my posts, look good and stand out. I played around with different styles, tried to find my own voice. It was all about being myself, but also keeping in mind what the brand was all about. It’s a tough balance, for sure. And I kept on trying new ideas and showing them.
- I made some posts, just talking about why I loved certain products.
- I did some unboxing videos, which were kinda fun, but also a pain to edit.
- I even tried to get some of my friends involved, which was a whole other headache.
Slowly but surely, I started to get noticed. A few smaller brands reached out, offering me some free stuff to try out. It wasn’t much, but it was a start! I thought I had already made it, and I should keep going. And then it hit me, I need to know what the brands are really expecting from me. How often do they want me to post? What kind of stuff do they want me to say? I learned that there are groups that I can join. I spent some time to find them and talk to the people there. They gave me a lot of suggestions and that helped me a lot!
And finally, I got a message from a brand I really loved. They wanted me to be an official ambassador! It felt amazing, like all that hard work had paid off. I was over the moon, jumping around like a little kid. Now I am making money and doing what I like, I love my job and I am happy about it. So if you are thinking about this, just do it!
It’s still early days, but it’s been a cool experience so far. It’s not easy, but it’s definitely rewarding. You know the most important thing I have learned during this time?
