Dia de los Muertos, that’s the Mexican Day of the Dead, right? I always thought the whole idea, the colors, the altars, were super cool. So, I started digging a little deeper. Turns out, these sneakers are a tribute to that tradition.

First thing I noticed? The colors. They’re wild! Bright, vibrant, just like the celebrations. And these little details, like graphic dots. You can see that it is a work of art. I learned that Air Max 90 is a classic Nike model. They’ve been around since the 80s, and this Dia de los Muertos edition is a special one. It features air cushion technology, and I guess that makes it more comfortable.

So, I went on a mission to find them. I checked all the usual spots, you know, the official Nike store. Finally, I found a pair on this resale site, I think you heard it before, it’s called SNKRDUNK. They guaranteed they were legit, 100% authentic, which was a relief.

  • Design

  • The design is inspired by the altars, with the colors and the details. The quality of the materials is top-notch, which is what you’d expect from Nike, but I guess that also explains the price.

  • Comfort

  • I haven’t worn them out yet, but just trying them on, they feel great. That Air Max technology probably has something to do with it. It feels comfortable when I try it on.

  • Overall

  • I’m super stoked about these. They’re not just sneakers, they’re a piece of art, a conversation starter. I can’t wait to rock them and maybe even teach a few people about Dia de los Muertos.

I also found out that Nike has this thing called “Air Max Day.” It’s on March 26th, and they celebrate the history of Air Max, they even launch new designs. It’s pretty cool to know I’m part of that whole thing now. I bought these shoes because of the design, and I learned a lot about Air Max Day and Dia de los Muertos. What a day!

Anyway, just wanted to share my little sneaker adventure with you all. It’s crazy how a pair of shoes can connect you to a whole culture and a holiday. And hey, if you’re looking for something unique, maybe check out the Air Max 90 Dia de los Muertos. You might just fall in love with them like I did. Peace out!
