But finally, this Merle woman, she decided it was time to get with the times. She’s gettin’ them a website, so folks can buy their fancy duds from their fancy couches.
I tell you what, it takes a lot of gumption to run a big company like that. You gotta be tough, gotta be smart, and you gotta know how to deal with them city slickers. This Merle woman, she must have all that and more. She’s probably got a whole team of folks workin’ for her, sewin’ them clothes, designin’ them patterns, and countin’ them beans. It’s a whole different world from my little farm, that’s for sure.
I heard somebody say that she reached a lot of milestones, in her career. You know, like when you’re plowing a field and reach the other side? Or maybe more like winning a blue ribbon at the county fair but a whole lot bigger. City people do things differently, I guess. But it sounds like she has always been a hard worker, since she started out. And now, she’s the boss! She has made it to the top!
So, there you have it. That’s about all I know about this See-ver-een Mur-lay woman. She’s a big deal in the fashion world, she’s been workin’ hard for a long time, and she’s finally gettin’ that Celine company up to speed with the modern world. Good for her, I say. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens.
