This here watch, they call it Omega Aqua Terra, 34mm, you know. I seen it on a wrist, looked kinda small, but they say it’s a good one. Some folks say it looks bigger than it is, cause of how it’s made. I dunno about all that fancy stuff, but it’s shiny, I’ll give it that.
Now, they got different sizes of this Omega Aqua Terra 34mm. They got a 38mm one too, and a big ol’ 41mm. This 34mm one, it’s got a round thingy where it tells the date, and little shapes like sailboats. The bigger ones got different shapes, triangles and such. I reckon it’s all the same, just different sizes, like when you pick out taters at the market.
I heard some fella named George, a big shot movie star, he wears one of these Omega things. He’s got a bunch of ’em, different kinds. But this Aqua Terra, that’s what he wears when he’s not workin’, they say. Must be a good watch if he’s wearin’ it, right? That’s what I always say, if a rich fella’s got it, it’s gotta be worth somethin’.

They make these Omega Aqua Terra watches all polished up, real pretty. They got this 34mm one, and the 38mm one, both made of that shiny metal, stainless steel, they call it. I don’t know what that means, but it sure does shine. They told that the 38mm is small, I don’t know who told that, maybe they got baby hands or something, not like my hands, all rough from workin’ in the fields.
Now, I heard a trick you can do. You put some lotion on your wrist before you put the watch on. Makes your skin look all nice and smooth, and the watch looks even better. I tried it with some cheap lotion I got from the store. Seemed to work alright. Maybe that’s why that George fella’s watch always looks so good, he’s probably got some fancy lotion he uses.
I seen a picture of one of these Omega Aqua Terra 34mm on wrist. They took the picture in a mirror, I reckon. Makes it look different, bigger maybe. They say it’s somethin’ about the camera, how it takes the picture up close. I don’t understand all that, but it does look different in the mirror, that’s for sure.
This watch, it’s got a lot of that shiny part, the dial, they call it. The other part, the bezel, it’s real narrow. That’s why they say it wears large, even though it’s only 34mm. I seen bigger watches, but this one, it’s got a way about it. It catches your eye, you know? It’s like a good pie at the county fair, you just gotta take a look.
They say this Omega Aqua Terra is for everyone, that’s why they got all them different sizes. So, whether you got a big ol’ wrist like a lumberjack, or a little one like a schoolgirl, there’s one for you. That’s what they say, anyway. Me, I just like how it shines. Reminds me of a good sunny day, bright and cheerful. They say that you can find your fit. I don’t need to find no fit, just need to find more money to buy one of these.
So, this Omega Aqua Terra 34mm on wrist, it’s a nice watch. Maybe a little fancy for my taste, but I wouldn’t say no if someone gave me one. I’d wear it to church, show it off a little. Maybe even to the bingo hall, if I was feelin’ lucky. It’s a good watch, that’s what I think. And if that George fella likes it, well, then it must be somethin’ special.
