Get the Oris Pointer Date 38mm: A Great Watch You Should Buy!

by Afra Jennings

Okay, so I’ve been on the hunt for a new watch for a while now. Something classy, you know, but not too flashy. And it’s gotta fit my tiny wrists. I mean, seriously, finding a watch that doesn’t look like I strapped a dinner plate to my arm is a real struggle.

Get the Oris Pointer Date 38mm: A Great Watch You Should Buy!

After hours of scrolling through forums and, you know, “researching,” I finally boiled it down to two options that wouldn’t totally break the bank: the Longines Spirit 37 and the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date 38. Both are pretty sweet, but I was leaning towards the Oris. It just seemed like a better deal for the money.

I ended up pulling the trigger on the Oris Big Crown Pointer Date. The 38mm Cervo Volante version. And man, let me tell you, it’s a beauty. The size is absolutely spot on. Doesn’t overwhelm my wrist at all.

Now, I’m no watch expert, but from what I gather, it’s got this Selita movement inside. Apparently, it’s a solid, reliable movement. And it seems to be doing its job just fine. It’s been keeping time like a champ, only off by like 5 seconds a day, which I hear is pretty decent. And that pointer date thing? It’s kinda cool, a little different. It’s not something you see every day, which I dig.

  • Finding the right size: This was a big one for me. I didn’t want anything too bulky, and the 38mm is perfect.
  • Pulling the trigger: I was a bit nervous about buying a watch online, but I took the plunge, and I’m glad I did.
  • First impressions: When I opened the box, I was blown away. It’s even better in person.
  • Wearing it out: I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I’m still loving it. It’s comfortable, it looks great, and it keeps good time.

All in all, I’m super happy with my Oris. It’s a solid watch, it looks great, and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. If you’re looking for something similar, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
