Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “fog” drinks all over social media, and the “fog pistachio” one really caught my eye. It looked so dreamy and delicious, I just had to try making it myself. Here’s how it went down:

Gathering My Stuff

First, I grabbed all the ingredients. I already had most of it, thankfully:

  • Sweetener – I had some honey on hand, so I used that.
  • Something to make the “fog”, this one I decided going to use ice.
  • Some strong Earl Grey tea – I’m a big tea person and use it to add more favor.

Making the Pistachio Paste

This was the part I was most nervous about, I needed to blend pistachios. I tossed a good handful of pistachios into my blender. Then I added alittle of water. I started the blender, and to my surprise, I blended for a bit longer, and it slowly started to turn into this smooth, pale green paste.

Then I put some water to boil and added the tea leaves I had, and let it steep for a good five minutes.

Okay, this is where the “fog” part comes in. I filled a glass with ice, like, really packed it in.

Putting It All Together

Now for the fun part! I poured a layer of the tea at the bottom of the glass. Then, I carefully spooned in a generous amount of the pistachio paste. After, I slowly added more milk into it and watched it mixing the pistachio layer. And I added a little honey.

The Taste Test

I took a sip, and…wow! It was creamy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweet. The tea gave it a nice, subtle flavor, and the coldness from the ice was perfect. Honestly, it tasted even better than it looked. It’s super refreshing.
