Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with The Devil Wears Prada lately (again!), and I decided I needed to find that iconic Marc Jacobs bag that Andy throws on Miranda’s desk. You know the one – it’s a crucial part of her “makeover” and I want it!
First, I scoured the internet. Just, you know, general Google searches. “Marc Jacobs bag Devil Wears Prada.” “Brown leather bag movie.” All the basics. I spent a good hour just clicking through images, trying to find a match. I wasn’t even sure about the exact name or model which makes it really really hard.
Then, I started to look at some dedicated fashion blogs. They have,like, everything. I figured if anyone knew the exact bag, it would be them. I spent, I don’t know, maybe another two hours browsing through old posts, and forum discussions. I even left a few comments asking if anyone recognized it.
I also tried a reverse image search. You know, where you upload a picture and Google tries to find similar ones? I grabbed a screenshot from the movie and ran it through a couple of different search engines. It was a little tricky, but I finally get the result that I am looking for.
After all my searching and digging, I found it! Or at least, I’m 99% sure I did. It’s a Marc Jacobs Stam bag. It’s discontinued, but it’s not so hard to find it on some reseller sites.
I am so happy that I finally got my marc jacobs stam bag! I will use it wisely!
