Today I wanna share something about Lauren Hutton, the super famous model. I first saw her face in an old magazine, and that gap in her teeth just got me.
So, I started digging. Turns out, she started modeling back in the 60s. I found a bunch of pictures of her, mostly from the 70s and 80s, and wow, she was a stunner. Her pictures are all over the internet, like on this site called Getty Images, they have tons of her photos.
My Process
- Searching: I started by just typing “Lauren Hutton” into Google. Man, there are a lot of pictures.
- Filtering: I wanted the older photos, so I added “1970s” and “1980s” to my search. That helped narrow it down.
- Collecting: I just started saving the ones I liked to a folder on my computer. It was a mix of fashion shots and some more casual ones.
- Organizing: After I had a good amount, I sorted them into folders by decade. Just to keep things neat.
I read that she was born in ’43, which makes her 80 now! She signed a huge deal with Revlon in ’73, making her the highest-paid model at the time. Pretty impressive, huh? And she’s still modeling today!
She’s all about aging naturally, which I think is super cool. I found this article from the New York Times where she talks about it. It’s really inspiring to see someone embrace getting older like that.
This whole thing started with a random picture, and now I’m totally fascinated by her. It’s amazing how much you can learn just by following your curiosity. I saved all these photos and I feel like I’ve got a little piece of fashion history right here on my computer. It’s like, she had this whole career and life, and I’m just now discovering it. It’s kinda wild when you think about it. I spent hours just looking at these pictures, and it made me want to learn even more about her time. Maybe I’ll watch some old interviews next.
