Fashionphiles Sarah Davis: The Easy Way to Buy & Sell Luxury.

by Joyce Mackintosh

Okay, so I’ve been seeing “Sarah Davis Fashionphile” pop up everywhere lately, and I was curious. I’m always on the lookout for good deals on designer stuff, and I’ve heard whispers about Fashionphile, but never really dug in. So, I decided to finally check it out and see what all the fuss was about, specifically focusing on this Sarah Davis connection everyone’s talking about.

First, I just went straight to the Fashionphile website. I gotta say, it’s pretty overwhelming at first! There are so many bags, it’s like a candy store but, you know, way more expensive candy. I spent a good chunk of time just browsing, kind of getting a feel for the layout and the different brands they carry.

Digging into Sarah Davis

Next, I started specifically searching for stuff related to Sarah Davis. Turns out, she’s the founder! I had no idea. I started to look at articles and videos about her and I realized, wow she really built this from the ground up.

My main goal was to see if there was some kind of special “Sarah Davis collection” or curated section. I couldn’t directly see that, I mean I can’t find special curated section from her.

My First Fashionphile Purchase…Almost

I did find a few bags that I loved, and I even put one in my cart. A vintage Chanel, it was gorgeous. But… I didn’t pull the trigger. It was still a big chunk of change, even pre-owned, and I wanted to do a little more research on the specific bag’s condition and authenticity guarantees. They say everything is authentic, and they have a whole process, but I’m still a little nervous about dropping that much cash online.

The Authenticity Thing

So, I spent a while reading through Fashionphile’s authentication process. It seems pretty legit, they have a whole team of experts and a bunch of steps they go through. I also watched some videos of people who had bought from Fashionphile and were showing off their purchases and talking about their experiences. Most of them seemed really happy.

Conclusion (For Now!)

I’m still on the fence about actually buying something. I’m definitely leaning towards it, though. The selection is amazing, the prices are (relatively) good, and the Sarah Davis story is inspiring. I think I just need to do a little more digging on that specific Chanel bag before I finally commit. I’ll probably update this later if I actually buy it!
