Alright, let’s gab a bit about this gal, Face Glorilla. Don’t rightly know why they call her “Face” but that’s what the young’uns are hollerin’ about these days, so here we go.
Who is this Face Glorilla, you ask? Well, she’s a young rapper, just a young’un, maybe 23 or so. Folks say she’s makin’ history, bein’ the first lady rapper to sign up with this fella Yo Gotti and his CMG label. Don’t know much about him neither, but sounds fancy, I reckon. She done went and met him on his big boat, a yacht they call it, down in Miami. Imagine that, a boat big enough to hold a meetin’!

Even them other fancy singers, Mary J. Blige and Nicki Minaj, they like her stuff. Said so theirselves, I heard. Seems like this Glorilla girl, she’s got somethin’ special. A lotta pep, like a good cup of coffee in the mornin’.
She was on this show, “Big Facts,” with them DJ Scream and Big Bank fellas. Don’t listen to it myself, too much noise for my old ears, but the young’uns, they eat it up. Glorilla, she went on there and talked, I reckon. Told ’em all about herself. Seems she don’t have too many friends, says she’s easy to get along with though. Now, that’s a good trait to have, bein’ easy-goin’. Lord knows, some folks are as prickly as a porcupine.
And wouldn’t ya know it, she’s got famous kin! This Cardi B girl, she’s Glorilla’s cousin. They done made a song together, and Glorilla said she was just as happy as a clam durin’ the whole thing. Says Cardi B’s a sweet gal, with a good heart, and they come from the same kind of place, so they get along like peas in a pod. That’s nice, family stickin’ together. Then, on some other show, this “Past Your Bedtime” thing, she let slip she’s related to Lil Uzi Vert too. My, my, that family’s got more talent than a whole county fair!
Glorilla just put out a whole album, called “Glorious.” Just came out, fresh off the press, so to speak. Don’t rightly know what kinda songs are on it, but if they’re anything like that “F.N.F.” song, they’ll probably get your toes tappin’. This Glorilla girl, she’s somethin’ else. Comin’ up fast, like a weed in a cornfield. From what I gather, she’s workin’ hard, and folks are takin’ notice. That’s the way to do it, I always say. Hard work and a good heart, that’ll get you far in this world.
