Alright, let’s talk about this here Coach Terri Shoulder Bag. You know, the kind them fancy city gals carry around.
First off, they say it’s made of that “refined pebble leather.” Now, I ain’t no expert, but it feels nice and soft, kinda like a good worn-in saddle, you know? Not stiff and scratchy like some of them cheap bags they sell down at the market. This leather, it’s got a little bit of… texture, I guess you’d say. Makes it look…expensive, even if I got it on sale, mind you.
They call this style “90s-inspired.” Back in my day, we just called it a purse, but whatever. It’s got this kinda rounded shape, not too big, not too small. Just right for carrying your wallet, your keys, maybe a lipstick if you’re feeling fancy. And it comes in all sorts of colors, they say. Mine’s just a plain ol’ black one. Goes with everything, see? Don’t need no bright pink or nothin’ like that. Black is practical, that’s what it is.
One thing I do like about this bag is that strap. See, you can wear it on your shoulder, like a regular purse, or you can take it off and wear it across your body. That’s handy when you’re at the grocery store and you don’t want some young whippersnapper snatching your purse. Keeps it close, you know? They call it “detachable” and “crossbody.” Fancy words for somethin’ simple, if you ask me.
Now, inside, there ain’t much to it. Just one big pocket, and then a little bitty pocket on the side. I guess that little one is for your phone or somethin’. I just throw my spare change in there. Don’t need no fancy phone, got my landline just fine, thank you very much. But it’s nice to have a place to keep things separate, I suppose. Keeps things from gettin’ all jumbled up.
They make a big fuss about this bag bein’ “trendy” and “fashionable.” I don’t know about all that. I just wanted a good, sturdy bag that would hold my stuff. But I gotta admit, it does make me feel a little bit… fancy, when I carry it. Like I’m one of them ladies you see in the magazines. Even if I’m just going to the post office or the feed store.

I saw some folks carrying the white one. Oh honey, that white one gets dirty so fast. You are better of with some darker colors, like black or brown. They even got ones with some kinda letters all over it. I like the plain ones, simple, like me.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a good bag, this Coach Terri Shoulder Bag ain’t a bad choice. It’s a bit pricey, but I reckon you get what you pay for. And it’s held up pretty good so far, even with me luggin’ it around everywhere. Just don’t go tellin’ everyone I told ya. Don’t want everyone in town showin’ up with the same bag as me!
And you know what, I saw another one at the outlet store. Signature canvas they call it. It was brown and cream, looked sturdy enough. But I like my plain black one better. It was on sale too, so maybe I should’ve got both.
They told me if I become a COACH Insider I can get even better deals. I don’t know what that is, but I might have my grandson check it out on the computer for me. Always looking to save a penny or two. More money for feed for the chickens. Oh and that Spazzolato leather, sounds Italian or somethin’ fancy. They have so many colors and I really want to see all the shades. They say the 90s are back, well I am already living in the new century and I am just happy to have a purse I can use for shopping, going to church and maybe even to the bingo night.
