This year, that Easter, my grandson, he come to me, he say, “Grandma, I want that LeBron 10!” I say, what is that LeBron 10? He say it’s a shoe, a good shoe! All the kids, they got it! Cost a lot of money, that shoe. I hear it’s one hundred, eighty dollar! That’s a lot of money for a shoe! Back in my day, we no got fancy shoe like that.
But, he want it, he really want it. He say, “Grandma, it’s Easter LeBron 10! Special one! For Easter!” What can I do? I love that boy. I want to make him happy. So I look, I look everywhere for that shoe. It is hard to find! I tell you! But a grandma, she don’t give up easy.
I hear they release that shoe in 2013. That was a long time ago. My grandson, he wasn’t even born then! But he say everyone still like that Easter LeBron 10. They say it is good, very good shoe. They say it made by Nike. I don’t know what is Nike, but he say it is good. I trust him. He know about these things.

I ask around. I ask the neighbors. I ask the other kids. They all know that shoe. LeBron 10 GS ‘Easter’, they call it. They say it’s a good shoe, a strong shoe. Good for running, good for jumping. My grandson, he like to run, he like to jump. He’s a good boy. He need a good shoe.
I hear they selling them at GOAT. I don’t know what is GOAT, sound like an animal. But my grandson, he say it’s a place, a good place to buy shoe. He say they have that LeBron 10 there. He say they protect the buyer. I don’t know what that mean, but it sound good. I want to be protected. I want my money to be safe. That’s a lot of money for a shoe!
I see that LeBron 10, it look nice. It got color, like Easter egg. My grandson, he like that. He say it’s cool. I don’t know what is cool, but if he happy, I happy. That LeBron, whoever he is, they say he is a big man, plays that basketball. I saw him on the TV once, he good. They say this is his shoe, this LeBron 10. Maybe that’s why it cost so much.
They say this LeBron, he a big shot. They say he from here, from this country. They say he make a lot of money. Good for him, I say. But why his shoe cost so much? One hundred, eighty dollar! For a shoe! That’s like, a whole month of groceries! But my grandson, he really want that Easter LeBron 10. He say all the kids have it.
That Nike, they make other shoes too. I hear they making a new one, Kobe 8 Protro. Sound like another animal to me. But the kids, they like it. They say it coming out later this year. Maybe my grandson, he want that one next. Kids these days, they always want new things. These shoes, these LeBron 10, these Kobe, they all cost a lot.
I remember, when I was a girl, we didn’t have fancy shoes like these. We just had, regular shoes. They didn’t cost much. They didn’t have names, like LeBron 10, or Kobe. They were just, shoes. But they were good shoes. They lasted a long time. We didn’t need new shoes every year. These kids today, they always want something new.
I guess that LeBron 10 GS is a good shoe. It must be, for that price. My grandson, he better take care of it. He better not lose it. He better not get it dirty. One hundred, eighty dollar! That’s a lot of money! I hope he appreciate it. I hope he know how much his grandma love him. I do anything for that boy, even buy him that expensive Easter LeBron 10.
