Okay, so I wanted to try out this Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Forever thing. I saw it at the store the other day, and the bottle looked pretty cool, all blue and summery. I figured, why not give it a shot? I’m always up for trying new smells.
First thing I did was give the bottle a good look. It’s a nice, solid-feeling bottle, and like I said, the blue color is really eye-catching. It definitely made me think of the ocean or something. Anyway, I popped the top off and took a whiff straight from the bottle. It smelled pretty strong, but I could definitely get that citrusy vibe they talk about in the description. I think I smelled grapefruit the most at that time.
Next, I sprayed a bit on my wrist. I wanted to see how it smelled on my skin. At first, it was still pretty strong, but it started to mellow out after a few minutes. The citrus was still there, but it was mixing with something else, maybe a bit woody or something like that? I’m not really good at describing smells, but it was nice.

After an hour or so, it was a lot softer than when I first sprayed it. It was more subtle, but still noticeable. I could still smell the citrus, but it was more in the background now. It was like a fresh, clean smell with a little hint of something else, like maybe some salty air or something.
I wore it for the rest of the day, and I have to say, I really liked it. It’s not overpowering, but it’s definitely there. I even got a couple of compliments on it, which is always nice. My friend said I smelled “fresh and clean,” which is pretty much what I was going for.
The next day, I decided to wear it again. This time, I sprayed a bit on my neck and chest, too. I wanted to see if it would last longer that way. And it did! I could still smell it on myself in the evening, which was pretty impressive.
Overall
I’m pretty happy with this Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Forever. It’s a nice, summery scent that’s not too strong or too light. It lasts a long time, and it smells good on my skin. I’ll probably be wearing it a lot this summer. It’s just a nice fresh scent, you know?
I sprayed it on my clothes, too, just to see what would happen. The scent lingered there even longer, almost like it was clinging to the fabric. It was like a little reminder of the fragrance throughout the day, which was pretty cool. I think I even caught a whiff of it the next morning when I picked up the shirt to put it in the laundry.
Oh, and I also tried spraying it in the air and walking through it, like they do in the movies. It felt kind of silly, but hey, why not? It did give me a more all-over scent, but it wasn’t as strong as spraying it directly on my skin. I guess it’s a good way to get a lighter application if that’s what you’re going for.
