So, I’ve been thinking about getting a new watch lately, and the name Versace popped up. You know, the fancy fashion brand? Yeah, they make watches too. Some folks were like, “Yeah, they’re great, Swiss-made, good quality,” but then others were saying, “Nah, you’re just paying for the name.” That got me even more curious, so I decided I needed to do a bit more digging.
Next, I went to a couple of watch stores in my city. I wanted to actually see these Versace watches in person and get a feel for them. I tried on a few different models. They definitely looked stylish, I gotta give them that. The designs were pretty bold, kinda like their clothing. They use good materials, for sure. I saw stainless steel, sapphire crystal which is like the super strong glass, and some had nice leather straps.

Another one was a little more honest, saying that, yeah, you do pay a bit extra because it’s Versace, but the quality was still there. He told me the movement inside the watches is good, not some cheap stuff.
After that, I spent some more time reading reviews and comparisons online. I found out that Versace watches are actually made by a company called Timex Group, under license. They’re a big watch company, so that was kind of reassuring. I also learned that Versace watches, well, they don’t really hold their value like some of those super expensive luxury watch brands. But, you know, they’re also a lot cheaper to begin with, so maybe that’s not a huge surprise.
Finally, I decided to take the plunge and buy one. I picked out a model I liked, a bit flashy, sure, but I figured, why not? I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and honestly, I’m pretty happy with it. It keeps time well, it looks good, and I’ve gotten a few compliments on it. It’s a solid watch.
So, based on my little experiment, I’d say yeah, Versace does make good watches. They’re not maybe the best watches in the world, but they’re definitely not bad either. They look great, they seem to be well-made, and they don’t break the bank as much as some other luxury brands. If you like the Versace style and you’re looking for a decent watch, I’d say go for it.
