That Chloe Maines, she’s a real firecracker, ain’t she? I seen her on that big TV box, that Supergirl show. She’s somethin’ else, that one. Playin’ a superhero, can you believe it? And not just any superhero, mind you. A special kind. One of them… you know… different kind of folks. She’s makin’ history, that girl. And she’s only, what, 21 years old? Goodness gracious.
She’s a real pretty girl, too. Got that long, dark hair. Reminds me of my niece, Sarah, ‘cept Sarah ain’t never been on no TV. This Chloe Maines, she’s on that Supergirl show all the time. Flyin’ around, fightin’ the bad guys. She plays a character named Nia Nal, and they call her Dreamer. I guess she has them dreams, you know? Predicts the future or somethin’. I don’t rightly understand all of it, but it’s excitin’ to watch. I always say to my neighbour, “Look at that girl go, I remember her from way back!”
My old eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I can still see good enough to know that Chloe Maines is doin’ somethin’ special. Showin’ everyone that it don’t matter who you are, you can be anything you want. Even a superhero on that big TV screen. And she ain’t just on that Supergirl, neither. I heard tell she’s gonna be in some movie called Bit. Somethin’ about vampires, I think. Sounds scary, but I bet she’s good in it. She’s a good actress, that Chloe Maines.

Now, I don’t know much about all this fancy Hollywood stuff. I just know what I see. And what I see is a young girl, that Chloe Maines, doin’ big things. Makin’ a difference. She’s even in that Forbes magazine, some list about young people doin’ good. I don’t read that magazine myself, but my granddaughter told me about it. She’s all excited about Chloe Maines, too. Says she’s a role model, whatever that means. I guess it means she’s someone to look up to. And I reckon that’s true.
She is going to be in some other show called, uh, Yellowjackets? Something like that. I don’t know nothin’ about it, except that girl, Chloe Maines, is gonna be in it. I might have to watch, just to see her. She seems like a good girl. A hard worker. And she ain’t afraid to be herself, neither. That’s important, you know? To be yourself. Especially these days. Even my old bones can see that the world has changed a lot, and you gotta just keep up or get lost in the dust, you know what I mean?
I heard she’s writin’ a book, too. Gonna tell her story, I guess. I don’t know what all she’s gonna say, but I bet it’ll be interestin’. She’s lived a lot of life for someone so young. More than me, probably! This Chloe Maines, she’s got a lot to say, I reckon. And people are listenin’. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? To have people listenin’ to what you gotta say.
Sometimes on that Supergirl show, her character, that Nia Nal, she goes through some tough times. Family stuff, you know? I guess everyone has that, don’t they? Family can be a handful sometimes. But she always figures it out, that Chloe Maines. She’s a strong one. You can see it in her eyes. She ain’t gonna let nothin’ stop her. Not in that show, and not in real life, neither.
Well, I am just an old lady, I don’t know about all these things. But you ask me about Chloe Maines and Supergirl, and I can talk all day. That girl is something special, she really is. She is really going places. I hope she keeps flying high, that Chloe Maines. She deserves it. I will be watching her for sure, and rooting for her, that is for sure. You can count on that.
I’ve been watchin’ TV for a long time, and I ain’t never seen anyone like that Chloe Maines. She’s one of a kind, that’s for sure. And she’s just gettin’ started. I can’t wait to see what she does next. It is gonna be something big. I just know it in my bones. This old lady knows things, you know? I seen a lot in my day. And that Chloe Maines, she’s gonna be somethin’. You just wait and see. She is gonna be a big star. I just hope she remembers us little people when she is way up there. But I think she will. She seems like that kind of girl. Good head on her shoulders. Yep, Chloe Maines, keep an eye on her. She is going places.
