Brad Pitt Shines in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Must-See!

by Alice Browne

Alright, let’s gab a bit about this fella, Brad Pitt, in that “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” movie. Seen it myself, down at the picture show last week. Don’t get me wrong, I ain’t no fancy movie critic or nothin’, but I know what I like, ya know?

Brad Pitt Shines in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood: A Must-See!

This Brad Pitt fella, he plays this Cliff Booth character. Now, Cliff, he’s a stuntman, always hangin’ around with this actor fella, Rick Dalton, played by that Leonardo DiCaprio. They’re like two peas in a pod, always together, y’know? Rick, he’s kinda washed up, used to be a big deal on TV, but now he’s struggling. Cliff, well, he’s just there for Rick, loyal as a dog, always got his back.

  • Brad Pitt, he’s real good in this movie. He’s got this cool, laid-back way about him.
  • Don’t talk much, but when he does, it’s somethin’ worth hearin’.
  • And he can sure handle himself in a fight, that’s for sure. Seen him beat up them hippies somethin’ fierce.

This whole movie, it’s set back in 1969, Hollywood way. Them cars, the clothes, everything looks real old-timey. Kinda makes ya think about how things used to be, ya know? Life was simpler back then, maybe. Less fussin’ and fightin’, maybe not. But different, for sure.

Now, some folks say this movie is too long. And maybe it is a bit. But I didn’t mind none. I was enjoyin’ myself, watchin’ Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio do their thing. They got a real good chemistry together, like they’ve known each other forever. Real believable, y’know? Makes you feel like you’re right there with ‘em, cruisin’ around Hollywood, gettin’ into trouble.

I heard tell there’s even more movie they didn’t show us! Can you believe it? Twenty hours of it, they say! Land sakes, that’s a lot of movie. Guess they had to cut some stuff out, make it fit for the picture show. But even without all that extra stuff, it’s still a darn good movie.

There’s this part where Brad Pitt’s character, Cliff, he goes up to this old ranch place. And there’s all these hippies livin’ there. Kinda spooky, if you ask me. Them hippies, they’re a strange bunch. But Cliff, he ain’t scared. He goes right in there, and well, things get a little hairy, let’s just say. He sure shows them hippies who’s boss.

And the watch! Folks are talkin’ about Cliff’s watch. Says it ain’t from the right time, the movie bein’ in ’69 and the watch from the ’70s. Well, I didn’t notice nothin’ like that. Was too busy watchin’ Brad Pitt, I guess. He wears them watches in real life too, I hear. Fancy ones. But in the movie, it’s just a regular ol’ watch, far as I could tell.

In the end, this movie, it’s about friendship, loyalty, and Hollywood. It’s about changin’ times and holdin’ on to what matters. And it’s got Brad Pitt bein’ all cool and tough. What’s not to like, right? If you ain’t seen it yet, go on and give it a watch. You might just like it. It ain’t perfect, but it’s a good time, y’know? And that Brad Pitt, he’s somethin’ special, that’s for sure.

Now, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about Hollywood got me hungry. But you remember what I said, go see that movie. It’s worth your time, even if it is a little long. And keep an eye on that Brad Pitt. He’s a good one, that fella.
