Okay, so I’ve been seeing these “ap kaws” things popping up all over the place, and I finally decided to give it a shot. I’m not much of an artist, but I figured, why not?

First, I looked up what “ap kaws” even was. Turns out, it’s about taking those iconic KAWS figures and, like, putting your own spin on them. People were drawing them, painting them, even making 3D models. It seemed pretty cool.
My First Attempt (It Was Rough)
- I grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil. Classic, right?
- I tried to sketch out the basic KAWS shape. You know, the kind of rounded body, the X-ed out eyes…
- It looked… wonky. Let’s just say my first attempt ended up in the trash.
I am not going to admit my drawing process,it was very long,I almost waste a whole box of paper.
I watched some videos online of people drawing KAWS figures. Seemed like everyone had their own little tricks. Some people started with the head, others with the body. I experimented with a few different approaches.
Getting the Hang of It (Sort Of)
After a few more tries (and a lot more crumpled paper), I started to get something that actually resembled a KAWS figure. It wasn’t perfect, but it was progress! I even added some of my own details, like a little hat and some funky shoes.
Then, I decided to get a little bolder. I picked up some colored markers and started adding some color. I went with some bright, bold colors – kinda like the real KAWS figures you see.

The Final Result (Not Bad!)
I finished it. I wouldn’t say I’m ready to sell my art or anything, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out. It was definitely a fun little project, and it got me thinking about maybe trying some more of these.
So, yeah, that’s my “ap kaws” adventure. Not exactly a masterpiece, but hey, I tried something new, and that’s what counts, right?
