Alright, so, I’ve been thinking about getting some new ink lately, and I’ve always been a huge fan of Young Thug’s style, you know? Not just his music, but his whole aesthetic, including those crazy tattoos he’s got.

So, a couple of months ago, I started digging around to see what his tattoos actually mean. I mean, they look cool, but I wanted to know if there was any real significance behind them. I found out that a lot of them represent his experiences and struggles, like “RIP Beanie,” “Jacob,” and “Future.” I thought that was pretty deep, it’s like he’s wearing his life story on his skin, man.
Brainstorming Some Ideas
I spent a good chunk of time looking through pictures online, especially on Pinterest. There’s this board by some guy named Davidjoh that has a ton of pictures of Young Thug, and it gave me a bunch of ideas. I even found this website, like a tattoo community, that had all of Thugger’s tattoos listed, with details about the style, body part, and even the size.
- First: I started browsing through Pinterest.
- Second: I spent hours looking at pictures of Young Thug’s tattoos.
- Third: I stumbled upon a tattoo community website with detailed info.
After doing all this research, I realized I didn’t want to just copy his tattoos exactly. I wanted to create something that was inspired by him but still unique to me. Plus, I wanted tattoos that had some meaning, not just random designs. That’s just not my vibe.
Designing My Own Tattoos
I’ve always been into drawing, so I started sketching out some ideas. I took some elements from Young Thug’s tattoos that I liked, like the bold lines and the intricate details, and then I mixed them with my own ideas. I spent days just sketching, erasing, and starting over until I had a few designs that I really liked.
- Then: I started sketching my own tattoo designs.
- Next: I combined elements from Young Thug’s style with my own.
- After that: I spent days refining my designs until I was happy.
Getting Inked
Once I had my designs finalized, I started looking for a tattoo artist who could bring them to life. I asked around for recommendations, and a friend of mine suggested this guy who had done some amazing work on him. I checked out his Instagram, and I was blown away by his style. It was exactly what I was looking for.

I booked a consultation with him, and we talked about my designs and what I wanted. He gave me some feedback and suggestions, and we made a few tweaks to the designs to make them even better. Then, I booked my appointment and got the first tattoo done. It hurt like hell, but it was totally worth it. I was so stoked with how it turned out.
- So: I found a tattoo artist based on a friend’s recommendation.
- Also: I had a consultation and finalized the designs with the artist.
- Finally: I got my first Young Thug-inspired tattoo.
I’ve since gotten a few more tattoos done, all inspired by Young Thug’s style but with my own personal touch. Each one has a special meaning to me, and I love how they look. It’s like I’m carrying a piece of his artistry with me wherever I go, but in my own way. Getting these tattoos was a long process, but it was definitely worth it. I feel like they’re a true reflection of who I am and what I’m into, and I couldn’t be happier with them.
