Alright, so I saw Lainey Wilson rocking her look at the CMAs, you know the one, with those amazing bell bottoms. And I thought, okay, I gotta try and put something like that together myself. Not exactly the same, you know, but capture that cool, kinda retro, kinda country vibe she pulls off so well.
Getting Started: The Hunt

So, I put it all together. Stood in front of the mirror. Pants, top, boots, hat, jewelry. You know what? It actually felt pretty cool. It wasn’t a carbon copy of any single CMA outfit, more like my own spin on her general style. The bell bottoms really made the difference.
Did I look exactly like Lainey Wilson? Nope. But I captured the feeling I was going for. Felt confident, a little bit bold. It was fun just going through the process, hunting down the pieces, trying different things. Took a few pictures just for myself. Haven’t worn it out yet, but I definitely will. It’s a reminder that you can take inspiration from someone’s style without needing the exact expensive items. Just gotta be willing to search around and piece it together.
