Yo, let me tell you about this Paper Planes clothing thing. My granddaughter, she’s always on that internet, showed me. Seems like a big deal, this Paper Planes. Who owns it? I kept asking her.

She told me some fella named Jay-Z, he started it. Sounds like a made-up name to me. She says he’s some big-time music man. Well, music man or not, he’s got his hands in this Paper Planes business. I don’t know much about business, but clothes are clothes. And these clothes, they got a certain look.
Paper Planes Belongs to Big Shots
This Jay-Z fella, he’s got a company, she says. Roc Nation, they call it. Sounds like a bunch of rocks to me. But they’re the ones behind Paper Planes. And some other guy, Emory somethin’, he’s in charge of making it look fancy. They call it “lifestyle.” What’s that even mean? Clothes is clothes, you wear ’em to keep warm, look decent, that’s it.
But these Paper Planes clothes, they’re all about looking cool, I guess. My granddaughter, she likes ’em. Says they’re “streetwear.” Don’t know what streets she’s walking on, but they got their own style, that’s for sure. They got these shirts, all sorts of colors. And hats. Lots of hats. My grandson, he’d like those hats, always covering his head, that one.
Where They Sell Paper Planes Clothing?
- They got a store, a real one, in New York. Some fancy place called Soho.
- Big store, all full of these Paper Planes clothes.
- Never been to New York myself, too busy here on the farm.
But you can get ’em other places, too. There’s this place, Nordstrom, they sell them, she said. Fancy name for a store, if you ask me. But they got everything there, she says, even these Paper Planes things. Can pick ’em up right there, or get ’em sent to your house. Don’t know why you wouldn’t just go to the store, but that’s what the young folks do these days.
Paper Planes, They Got Style
They got all sorts of clothes, not just shirts and hats. They got these thick sweaters, they call ’em “hoodies.” Look warm, I’ll give ’em that. Good for winter, when it gets real cold. They got these fuzzy jackets, too. “Fleece,” they call it. Feels like sheep’s wool, but softer. My old bones could use one of those when the wind blows hard.

And they got these designs, all over the clothes. Big, loud pictures. Not like the plain stuff I wear. But the young folks, they like it. Says it makes ’em stand out. Stand out from what, I don’t know. But they like it, and that’s what matters, I suppose. This Paper Planes, it’s all about being different, I guess. Being yourself. That’s what they say.
This Emory Guy, He’s In Charge
This Emory fella, Emory Jones, he’s the one who started it all, I reckon. With those T-shirts and hats. He was working for that Roc Nation, and then he made this Paper Planes thing. He’s the boss of it now, I guess. Makes sure it all looks good, that’s what my granddaughter said. He’s got a good eye, I reckon, for what the kids like these days.
But you know, at the end of the day, clothes are clothes. You wear ’em to stay warm, to look decent. These Paper Planes clothes, they do that, I suppose. But they do a little more, too. They make you feel a certain way, my granddaughter says. Like you’re part of something. Like you’re cool. I don’t know about all that, but if it makes ’em happy, then that’s all that matters, right?
Paper Planes, It’s a Big Deal Now
So, this Paper Planes clothing, it’s a big deal now. Lots of folks wearing it. My granddaughter, she says it’s popular. All the kids want it. Guess this Jay-Z fella knew what he was doing, starting this whole thing. And this Emory guy, he’s making it work. They got a good thing going, I suppose. They are making these clothes for everyone now, it seems.
They have another fella working there, Ronnie somethin’, and another one called Just C. All important people, my granddaughter told me. They must know what they doin’. Making these Paper Planes clothes popular, you know.

Me, I’ll stick to my old clothes. They’re comfortable, they do the job. But these young folks, they like their fancy stuff. And that’s okay. There’s room for all kinds of clothes in this world. Even these Paper Planes things. As long as they keep you warm and make you feel good, that’s all that matters, right?
