They got all sorts of clothes, not just shirts and hats. They got these thick sweaters, they call ’em “hoodies.” Look warm, I’ll give ’em that. Good for winter, when it gets real cold. They got these fuzzy jackets, too. “Fleece,” they call it. Feels like sheep’s wool, but softer. My old bones could use one of those when the wind blows hard.
And they got these designs, all over the clothes. Big, loud pictures. Not like the plain stuff I wear. But the young folks, they like it. Says it makes ’em stand out. This Emory fella, Emory Jones, he’s the one who started it all, I reckon. With those T-shirts and hats. He was working for that Roc Nation, and then he made this Paper Planes thing. He’s the boss of it now, I guess. Makes sure it all looks good, that’s what my granddaughter said. He’s got a good eye, I reckon, for what the kids like these days.

Me, I’ll stick to my old clothes. They’re comfortable, they do the job. But these young folks, they like their fancy stuff. And that’s okay. There’s room for all kinds of clothes in this world.
