I seen some folks wearin’ them shoes with them bomber jackets, like them flyin’ fellas used to wear. Looks kinda sharp, I gotta admit. And some of them youngsters, they wearin’ ’em with them wide-leg pants, you know, the kind that look like they swallowed a whole tent. If you’re a real one, wear ’em with baggier/more relaxed pants, that’s what I heard them young folks sayin’ down at the store. Fashion, I guess. It changes faster than the weather around here.
What I don’t get is why everyone’s gotta have the same shoes. Back in my day, you wore what you had, and you made it last. Now, everyone’s gotta have the latest this and the greatest that. But I guess that’s just how things are now. And these white Air Force Mids, well, they seem to be the thing everyone wants.

High tops seem like they’d keep your ankles warm, and low tops seem easier to slip on and off. But the mids, they right in the middle, I guess. Maybe that’s why folks like ’em.
