Suddenly remembered last Tuesday my kid asked about Georgia Cooper’s tour when we were stuffing laundry into the machine. Washed my hands, sat down at the dusty laptop still covered in cookie crumbs.
First Attempt: Google Diving
Slammed “georgia cooper tour 2024” into Google. First page looked promising… until I clicked. Drowned in articles about her new song, merch drops, everything BUT tour dates. Total time waste.
Then noticed the official site link buried under ads. Got excited – finally the source! Clicked it… just pretty pictures and music clips. No tour section at all. Felt like running into a glass door. Seriously?
The Social Media Shuffle
Punched open that blue bird app on my phone. Scrolled through Georgia’s tweets:
- Selfie with a cactus 🌵
- New vinyl colors announced 💿
- Breakfast oatmeal pic 🥣
All useless. Fan replies were messy as spilled juice – “Come to Brazil!!!” everywhere. Zero facts. Closed app feeling annoyed.
Last Resort: Ticket Giants
Thought about giving up but kid would pout. Opened those big ticket sites everyone uses. Searched her name… wham! Dates actually popped up:
- Aug 29 – Chicago @ Park West (weekday, ugh)
- Sept 4 – Toronto @ Danforth Music Hall (border crossing? nah)
- Sept 11 – Seattle @ Neptune (rainy season though)
Suddenly remembered the venue trick. Searched Neptune Theatre’s own site. Boom! Cheaper fees PLUS better seat map view. Showed it to kid – “That stage looks tiny!” Totally trashed my dinner plans but found what we needed. Pretty sweet deal actually.
