Okay, so I’ve been seeing the Tatcha Silk Canvas Protective Primer EVERYWHERE, and you know me, I had to jump on the bandwagon and see what the hype was all about. I finally caved and bought it.
Getting Started
First impressions? The packaging is gorgeous. Seriously, it feels so luxe. It comes in this heavy, purple compact. Inside, there is a little spatula thingy to scoop the product, which I appreciate because it’s more hygenic.
The Experiment
- I started with my usual skincare routine – cleanse, tone, moisturize. Gotta have a good base, you know?
- Then, I scooped out a tiny bit of the primer with the spatula. It’s like a balm, kind of solid, but it melts when you touch it.
- I warmed it up between my fingers – just for a second or two.
- Then I patted it all over my face. I focused on my T-zone, because that’s where I get oily, and around my nose where my pores are more visible.
The Results
Honestly, it felt amazing going on. So smooth and velvety. It kind of blurred everything out, like a real-life filter! My foundation went on like a dream after that. Super even, no patchiness.
