You guys, today I’m going to talk about snagging a pair of Kyrie Nike 1s. Man, this was a journey, let me tell you.

So, I started by hitting up all the usual spots online, you know, the big marketplaces. I typed in “Nike Kyrie 1” and scrolled through pages of listings. I saw a whole bunch of different colorways and styles, like the ‘Deceptive Red’ and the ‘All Star.’ It was a bit overwhelming, to be honest. I even found some special editions, like the ‘BHM,’ which looked pretty sweet.
- Browsed through various online marketplaces.
- Compared prices and styles.
- Checked out a few physical stores.
After that, I decided to dig a little deeper. I learned that the Kyrie 1 was the first signature shoe for Kyrie Irving, released back in December 2014. The original ‘Dream’ colorway was priced at $110, but some premium versions went for $130. I read up on the history of the shoe and how it became so popular. That got me even more hyped to get a pair!
Then, I started to look at prices. They were all over the place! Some were selling for way more than the original retail price, especially the rarer colorways. I saw listings for a couple hundred bucks in some places. I kept comparing and narrowed down my options based on what I liked and what I could afford.
- Researched the history and significance of the Kyrie 1.
- Observed the wide range of prices.
- Filtered choices based on style preference and budget.
Next, I went to some actual stores to see if I could try them on and maybe get lucky. I found that the Nike Kyrie 2 was known for good traction and support. No luck finding the 1s in most stores, but I did find a pair of Kyrie Flytrap VI in a cool orange and yellow color. They felt pretty good, but I was still set on the Kyrie 1s.
Finally, after all that searching and comparing, I found a pair of Kyrie 1s in the ‘Wolf Grey’ colorway that I really liked. The price was decent, and the seller seemed legit. I pulled the trigger and bought them. The feeling when I finally got them in hand was amazing.

So yeah, that’s my story of how I scored a pair of Kyrie Nike 1s. It took some time and effort, but it was totally worth it. Now I can rock these awesome kicks and feel good about the journey it took to get them.
