My Anine Bing Pants Experiment (And What I Learned)

Alright guys, so I finally bit the bullet and got myself a pair of Anine Bing pants. I’d been eyeing them for ages – you know, seeing them on Instagram and all that – and decided it was time to see if they lived up to the hype. Here’s the whole story of my experience, from ordering to actually wearing them out and about.

First things first, I spent like, a week trying to decide which style to get. They have so many! I was bouncing back and forth between the Becky Trouser and the Mika Pant. After watching a ton of try-on videos (shoutout to YouTube!), I landed on the Becky Trouser in black. Seemed like the most versatile option, right?

Then came the fun part: ordering. The Anine Bing website was easy enough to navigate. I double-checked the size chart (important!), added the pants to my cart, and clicked “checkout.” Fingers crossed they’d fit! The anticipation was real.

The package arrived like, five days later. I ripped it open immediately (obviously). The pants felt amazing – the material was heavier than I expected, which was a good thing. They looked super well-made.

Okay, trying them on was the moment of truth. They were a little snug around the waist. I probably should have sized up, but hey, I’m working on getting in shape, so I decided to keep them anyway! Plus, they looked incredible with a simple white tee and some sneakers.

Next step: actually wearing them out. I wore them to a coffee date with a friend. Big mistake was spilling a latte on them almost immediately. Luckily, it came out with some stain remover, but that was a close call! They were surprisingly comfortable to wear all day, even with the slightly-too-tight waistband.

A few wears in, and I’m starting to get a feel for how to style them. They look great dressed up with a blazer and heels for a night out, or dressed down with a sweater and boots for a more casual look. I even wore them to work with a button-down shirt and loafers. Super versatile, just like I hoped!

Now, the big question: are they worth the money? Honestly, yes and no. They are definitely a splurge. But, the quality is fantastic, and they really do elevate any outfit. If you’re looking for a classic, well-made pair of pants that you’ll wear for years, then I’d say go for it. But, if you’re on a tight budget, there are definitely more affordable options out there.

Things I learned:

  • Pay attention to the size chart! Seriously, measure yourself.
  • Black pants are a wardrobe staple for a reason. They go with everything.
  • Be careful when drinking coffee in white clothing (duh).
  • Anine Bing pants are an investment, but can be worth it if you’re looking for quality and style.

So, that’s my Anine Bing pants journey! What are your favorite wardrobe staples? Let me know in the comments!
