Okay, so the other day I was watching something, can’t even remember what now, and this actress popped up. Charlotte Hope. I knew I’d seen her face before, definitely. Stuck in my head. So, I figured, let me just look up what else she’s been in. You know how it is, one thing leads to another.
Fired up the old computer, opened a browser. Didn’t do anything fancy, just typed ‘Charlotte Hope movies and tv shows’ into the search bar. Hit enter. Usual stuff popped up, you know, some links here and there. Took a minute to sift through.
First thing I obviously remembered her from was Game of Thrones. Yeah, she played Myranda, that psycho girl who was with Ramsay Bolton. Gave me the creeps in that show, did a good job there. That was probably the most obvious one.
Then I saw The Spanish Princess. Right! She was the main character in that one, Catherine of Aragon. Completely different vibe, obviously. Saw bits of that show, she was decent. It’s funny how you see actors in one role and then find them in something totally opposite.
Stuff I Found She Was In
So, I started making a quick list, just jotting things down as I saw them come up on the screen. Here’s roughly what I gathered:
TV Shows:
- Game of Thrones (like I said, Myranda)
- The Spanish Princess (Catherine of Aragon)
- Casualty (Apparently some early stuff)
- Holby City (Another medical drama thing?)
- Death in Paradise (Seems like a lot of British actors do a stint on this one)
- Vera (Another detective show)
- The English Game (Something about football, looked interesting)
- Catch-22 (Miniseries, George Clooney was involved I think?)
Movies:
- Les Misérables (The big movie version from 2012, think she had a smaller part)
- The Theory of Everything (The Stephen Hawking movie, again maybe a smaller role?)
- Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (Don’t remember seeing her in that, but okay)
- Allied (That Brad Pitt WW2 movie)
- Three Christs (Richard Gere movie, never heard of it before)
- The Nun (Oh yeah, the horror movie! Sister Victoria, right at the start)
So yeah, quite a mix actually. Some big-name stuff, some smaller roles, TV, movies. It’s always interesting to see the path actors take. You see them in one major role and forget they’ve been plugging away in lots of other things before and after.
Didn’t realize she was in The Nun until I saw it on the list. That made sense, her face clicked then for that movie too. It’s funny how you piece it together. Anyway, that was my little digging session. Just wanted to figure out where else I’d seen her. Done now.
