Alright, so I wanted to share a bit about what I’ve been up to lately, something that kinda took me down memory lane. It’s all about these mid 90s quotes. Sounds a bit random, I know, but it started pretty organically, as these things often do.
I was actually just clearing out some old boxes from the attic the other weekend. You know how it is, you tell yourself you’re gonna finally sort through everything, and then you get sidetracked. - Music was a big one too. I put on some playlists from that era. Song lyrics, man, they can really transport you back. Some of those lines were iconic, even if we didn’t fully get them back then.
- Talked to old friends. This was probably the best part. I called up a couple of buddies I’ve known since way back when. “Hey, do you remember when everyone was saying [insert random 90s phrase here]?” We had some good laughs, and they remembered a bunch of stuff I’d completely forgotten.
Slowly but surely, I started to build up a list. It was messy at first, just a jumble of words and phrases in a notebook. Some of it, looking back, is hilariously cringey. But a lot of it just brought back this wave of nostalgia, you know? Good times, simpler times, maybe.
I eventually typed it all out, tried to organize it a bit. It’s not like I was trying to write a dictionary or anything, just wanted to have this little collection for myself.
