My Barbie Outfit Process
Okay, so I got invited to this party, and the theme was Barbie. My first reaction was, honestly, a bit of a puzzle. I’m not exactly playing with dolls anymore, you know? But hey, a theme’s a theme. Didn’t feel like rushing out to buy some cheap costume I’d never wear again.

Just for good measure, I thought about a different color combo. Found a simple black A-line skirt. Paired that with a bright, almost neon pink sleeveless top I got super cheap last year. Added simple black flats because comfort is key, let’s be real.
It needed something else. Found a really chunky, bold necklace – you know the type, big plastic beads. Put that on. Tied my hair up really high in a ponytail with a pink scrunchie I found. That felt quite different, maybe more of that classic, slightly retro Barbie feel. Simple, but it worked.
