Felt like hitting a brick wall. Tried every trick – different search words, scrolled past page 5 of Google (felt like exploring the Mariana Trench), even checked some sketchy gossip forums. Nada. Zilch. Zero concrete details about money, property, nada. Just a big ol’ pile of “private settlement.” Super frustrating!
Took a break, walked my dog, grumbled about modern journalism. Came back still annoyed. Then, while randomly clicking through an old interview with Vera about wedding dresses (go figure), she dropped this line: “Marriages end. What matters is how you close the chapter.” Hit me different.
Spent the afternoon thinking: Isn’t that the point? A super private person designing wedding gowns while her own marriage ended… and handled the ending quietly? Maybe that’s the real story buried in all the “settlement news” hype. Privacy, dignity, moving on. Not TMZ-style drama. Didn’t find the dollar figures, but kinda found something deeper. Or at least, that’s what I’m telling myself after wasting half a dang day!
