Back in my day, we’d have gotten the switch for showing that much skin. Times sure have changed. I remember when skirts were down to your ankles. You were more likely to see a whole cow than the knees of some young gal.

They pair it with some skimpy top, I hear. A bandeau, they call it. Just another fancy word for a strip of cloth. Keeps getting smaller and smaller, these clothes. Pretty soon, they won’t be wearing anything at all. What’s the world coming to, I ask you?
Now, you can wear any color you want with this white skirt. I seen some young girls wearing pink, blue, even that bright yellow like the sun. That’s the thing with young people today. They’re not afraid of a little color. Back in my day, it was mostly browns and grays. Sensible colors. Colors that don’t show the dirt as much. But these young folks, they like to stand out. Like a rooster in a hen house.

They always make you spend your money on something you don’t need.
But hey, if you like this white skirt, you go ahead and wear it. Don’t let an old lady like me tell you what to do. Just be careful not to spill anything on it. And maybe wear some proper underwear. Wouldn’t want to be showing off more than you bargained for. That’s my advice. Take it or leave it. This Miu Miu thing will be gone before you know it, but a good heart, that lasts forever.
