Alright, let’s talk about them T-Mac 3 shoes. You know, the basketball ones. Folks keep askin’ me about ’em, so I figured I’d yap a bit.
First off, these shoes, they came out a while back, somethin’ like 2004, I think. Folks were all hyped up ’bout ’em. Tracy McGrady, that basketball fella, he wore ’em. He was a big deal, you know, real good at throwin’ that ball in the hoop. So, naturally, everyone wanted shoes like his.
Now, I ain’t no shoe expert, mind you. I just see things how they are. These T-Mac 3s, they look… well, they look like shoes, alright? They got that stripey thing on the side, that’s Adidas, I hear. They got laces, gotta tie ’em tight so they don’t fall off your feet when you’re runnin’ around. And they got that… that… sole thing on the bottom, the rubbery part. That’s important, I guess, keeps you from slippin’ and slidin’ all over the place.

- Guess they were good for playin’ basketball, jumpin’ high, and all that.
I remember seein’ kids wearin’ ’em. They’d be out on the court, dribblin’ and shootin’. Made me think of my own kids, when they were young. Always runnin’ around, wearin’ out their shoes. Kids these days, they still do that, I reckon.
But these T-Mac 3s, they weren’t just for playin’ ball. I saw folks wearin’ ’em just to walk around, to school, to the store. Guess they were comfy enough. And they looked kinda… shiny. Had this shiny bit on the back, and some shiny stripes too. Kids like shiny things, don’t they? Heck, even us old folks like a little shine sometimes.
Now, I heard tell that these shoes were a big deal for Adidas. Sold a whole bunch of ’em, they did. Made a lot of money, I bet. That’s how these things work, ain’t it? Someone famous wears somethin’, everyone else wants it too. It’s like that time that fella on TV was eatin’ that… what was it? A burger? And then everyone wanted to eat that burger. Same kinda thing, I reckon.
T-Mac 3, Adidas, basketball shoes… these are the words folks use, I hear. They type ’em into that… that computery thing… and then they find all sorts of stuff about these shoes. Pictures, stories, where to buy ’em. It’s a whole different world now, ain’t it? Back in my day, we just went to the store and bought shoes. Didn’t need no computery thing.
Anyway, these T-Mac 3s, they were somethin’ special, I guess. People still talk about ’em, even now, all these years later. That Tracy fella, he must’ve been real good, real popular, to have shoes named after him. And Adidas, they must’ve known what they were doin’, makin’ shoes that folks wanted to wear.
I seen some pictures of these shoes online, the other day. My grandson, he showed me. They come in different colors, I noticed. Red, blue, black, white… all sorts of colors. And they got this little… pattern thing… on the side. It’s kinda like… swirls, I guess you could call ‘em. Makes ‘em look fancy, I s’pose.
Some folks, they collect these shoes, you know. Keep ’em all nice and clean, in boxes. Don’t even wear ‘em. Just keep ‘em to look at, I guess. That’s somethin’, ain’t it? Spendin’ money on shoes you don’t even wear. But hey, folks do all sorts of strange things, that’s for sure.
Now, I’ve heard some folks sayin’ these shoes are hard to find nowadays. ‘Cause they ain’t makin’ ’em no more, I reckon. So, if you got a pair, you hold onto ’em tight, I guess. Might be worth somethin’ someday. Or maybe not. Who knows? Shoes are just shoes, at the end of the day. They keep your feet off the ground, that’s what matters.
So, that’s my two cents on them T-Mac 3 shoes. They were popular, they looked alright, and folks seemed to like ’em. And that’s all there is to it, I reckon. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about shoes has made me hungry.
