Alright, so I wanted to share my little journey with the Savage Fenty VIP membership. It’s been a bit of a learning curve, let me tell ya.
I first stumbled upon Savage Fenty, you know, seeing it all over the place. The stuff looked pretty cool, and then I saw the “VIP” prices, which were way more tempting than the regular ones. So, I thought, why not? I decided to sign up. The process itself was pretty straightforward, just like any other online shopping site, really. Picked out a few items, got that initial discount, and boom, I was a VIP member.
My First “Oh, Wait” Moment
It wasn’t long after I signed up that I properly dug into what this VIP thing really meant. I either read an email more closely or finally went through the membership details on their site. That’s when I saw this bit about a monthly charge. Turns out, if you don’t do anything, they’ll bill you. At the time I’m writing this, it’s like $59.95 on the 6th of each month.
But, and this is the important part I learned, you can avoid that charge. You have to log into your account between the 1st and the 5th of the month and specifically hit a button that says “Skip This Month.” If you do that, no charge. Phew!
Living the Skip Life
So, my routine now? I literally set a reminder on my phone for the 1st of every month. “SKIP SAVAGE FENTY” – clear and to the point. I log in, navigate to the membership section, and click that skip button. It’s become a habit.
Have I ever forgotten? Almost! There was one month I was super busy, and it was the 4th, and I suddenly remembered. Talk about a close call. I scrambled to log in and skip it just in time.
The cool thing is, you can skip as many months as you want. There’s no limit, apparently. And even if you skip, you can still shop if you feel like it later in the month, though you’d be paying the VIP prices, not using a member credit, if you skipped successfully.
What Happens if You Don’t Skip?
If you don’t skip by the 5th, they charge your card that $59.95 on the 6th. But it’s not like that money just vanishes. You get what they call a “VIP Member Credit” for that amount, which you can then use to buy stuff. So, you’re essentially pre-paying for something if you forget or choose not to skip.
I actually let it charge once, just to see. The credit appeared in my account, and I used it a few weeks later on a new set. So, it works as they say, but I much prefer controlling when I spend my money, so I’m back to being a diligent skipper.
Shopping and Cancelling Thoughts
When I do decide to buy, the VIP prices are definitely better. I’ve bought a few things over time, and I’ve been mostly happy with the quality for the price I paid as a VIP.
Now, about cancelling. I haven’t done it yet. I’ve looked into it, though. You can apparently call them, they list a number (1-855-SAVAGE-X, which they say is 24/7), or there’s an option to manage it online. For now, since skipping is pretty easy for me, I just keep doing that. If it ever becomes a hassle, or if I stop wanting to buy from them altogether, I’ll definitely go through the cancellation process.
Oh, and you don’t have to be a VIP to shop. They have an option to shop as a Guest, but you’ll be paying the higher, non-discounted prices. So, there’s that choice too.
So yeah, that’s been my experience. It’s a system you have to stay on top of if you don’t want that monthly charge, but the “skip” option makes it manageable for me. Just gotta remember!
