Alright, so I finally got my hands on that Honey perfume by Kim Kardashian. I’d been hearing bits and pieces about the KKW Fragrance line, and the Honey one caught my eye. You know, I like a sweet scent sometimes, and honey sounded kinda interesting, different from the usual florals everywhere.
Finding it wasn’t too much of a hassle. Didn’t see it in my usual spots, so I just ordered it online. Came in the mail a few days later. The box was simple enough, nothing too fancy.
First Impressions
Okay, the bottle. It’s definitely unique. Heavy glass, shaped like… well, it’s clearly meant to look like a body form, Kim’s body I guess. Kinda cool, kinda weird, sits okay on the dresser though. Felt solid.
So, the moment of truth. I sprayed a little on my wrist. Wow, that is definitely honey. Like, straight-up, thick, syrupy honey. It’s super sweet right off the bat. Almost like sticking your nose in a jar of wildflower honey. There’s maybe a hint of something floral underneath, but that honey note just dominates everything initially.
Wearing It Out
I decided to give it a proper go the next day. Just sprayed a couple of spritzes before heading out to run some errands. That initial blast of honey was strong again. If you don’t like sweet scents, you’d probably hate this opening.
After maybe 30 minutes to an hour, it did settle down a bit. The super intense sweetness dialed back, and I could smell more of the floral part, maybe some creamy vanilla or something soft underneath? It became less sharp, more like a warm, sweet skin scent. It wasn’t projecting like crazy, which I appreciated. You’d smell it if you were close, but it wasn’t filling the room.
Here’s what I noticed:
- Scent: Mostly honey, then some soft florals and a warm base. Very sweet overall.
- Longevity: It lasted okay-ish. I got maybe 4, perhaps 5 hours where I could still clearly smell it on my skin. After that, it was pretty much gone.
- Vibe: Feels very warm, cozy, definitely a daytime scent for me. Maybe better for cooler weather because of the sweetness.
My Final Take
So, what’s the verdict? Look, it’s exactly what it says on the tin: Honey. It delivers that note loud and clear. It’s not the most complex perfume I’ve ever smelled, not by a long shot. It’s very straightforward.
Is it amazing? For me, it was just alright. Pleasant enough if you’re in the mood for something very sweet and comforting. That initial honey blast is a bit much for me personally, but the dry down was nicer, softer.
Would I buy it again? Probably not. But I’m glad I tried it just to see what it was all about. If you are a massive fan of super sweet, gourmand scents and especially love the smell of pure honey, you might actually really enjoy this one. It wasn’t bad, just not totally my cup of tea for everyday wear. It was an experience, and now I know!
