Okay, so I finally decided to get my hands on the Goyard Artois MM. I’d been eyeing it for, like, ever, and after a ton of research and saving up, I went for it. This is how it all went down.
The Hunt Begins
First, I spent weeks, maybe even months, just looking at pictures and reviews online. I needed to be absolutely sure about the size and color. The Artois comes in different sizes, and I was torn between the PM and the MM.
Then, I started hitting up the actual stores. I really wanted to see the bag in person, feel the material, and try it on.

- Tried on both the PM and the MM.
- Asked a sales about taking care of it.
Making the Decision
After seeing the bag in person, the MM was the clear winner. The PM was just a little too small for my everyday stuff. I tend to carry a lot – wallet, phone, keys, makeup bag, sometimes even a small notebook. The MM felt perfect.
Color-wise, I went with the classic black with black trim. I know, I know, it’s not the most exciting choice, but I wanted something that would go with everything. Plus, I figured it would be the most durable in the long run. I wanted it to get dirty slow.
Taking the Plunge
Making that final purchase was a little nerve-wracking, I’m not gonna lie! It’s a big investment. But, I’d done my homework, saved up, and I knew it was what I wanted.
Handed over my card, and with that, I took the plunge. I felt relieved and happy.
Living with the Artois MM
I’ve been using the Artois MM for a few weeks now, and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s the perfect size for my everyday needs, and it’s surprisingly lightweight.
I’ve even gotten a few compliments on it, which is always nice! It’s definitely a statement piece, but it’s also super practical. It just, you know, works.
All in all, no regrets! This bag-hunting journey had a very happy ending. I did the research, I took my time, and I ended up with a bag that I’ll hopefully enjoy for years to come.
