Okay, guys, let’s talk about my little adventure to Ross on the Las Vegas Strip.

So, I heard that if you want to snag some deals at Ross, you gotta hit it up on Mondays. Apparently, that’s when they do their markdowns, and you get first dibs on all the new clearance stuff. Plus, they only get new shipments during the week, so by the weekend, all the good stuff is usually gone. Makes sense, right?
I was in Vegas, and I figured, why not check it out? I mean, who doesn’t love a good bargain? I found out there are two Ross stores right on the Strip. One is down south near the MGM Grand, and the other is up north. I decided to go to the one near the MGM Grand ’cause it was closer to where I was staying.
I walked in, and man, this place is huge! It’s got two floors, and it’s surprisingly tidy for a discount store. I started browsing around, and they have everything – clothes, shoes, accessories, home goods, even luggage. I heard someone mention they sell luggage, which is perfect if you hit the jackpot at the slots and need an extra suitcase for all your winnings, haha!
I was mainly looking for clothes, and let me tell you, the prices are pretty good. They’ve got a lot of variety, too. I saw some stuff that looked like it came straight out of other retailers, but way cheaper. I guess that’s how they do it – they buy stuff from suppliers after it’s been made for other stores. Smart move, Ross!
- First stop, the clearance section. I dug through the racks and found a few shirts I liked. They were marked down to like, $5 each! Score!
- Next, I checked out the shoe aisle. They had a decent selection, but nothing really caught my eye.
- Then I wandered over to the home goods. They had some cool kitchen stuff and even some artisanal foods. I almost bought a fancy olive oil, but I resisted. I was already over my shopping budget, oops!
I ended up spending a couple of hours in there, just browsing and trying things on. It was actually kind of fun, like a treasure hunt. I can see why people love this place.

Here’s what I learned from my Ross adventure:
- Go on Mondays: That’s when the markdowns happen, and you’ll have the best selection.
- Be prepared to dig: You gotta sift through a lot of stuff to find the gems.
- The prices are legit: You can find some really good deals, especially on clothes.
- It’s a good place to kill some time: Even if you don’t buy anything, it’s fun to browse.
So, yeah, that was my Ross experience on the Las Vegas Strip. If you’re ever in Vegas and looking for a bargain, definitely check it out. Just remember to go on a Monday and wear comfortable shoes, ’cause you’ll be doing a lot of walking!
