So, I finally made it out to that Sephora in Middletown, New York. I’d heard some mixed things about it, but I figured I’d see for myself what the deal was. First off, I had to figure out which one to go to because I found listings for two different locations when I searched online.

One was inside the Crystal Run Galleria, and the other was inside a Kohl’s. I decided to start with the one at Kohl’s, located at 470 Route 211 E. I punched the address into my phone and started driving.
When I got there, I noticed that it was a typical Sephora setup inside a department store. I looked around a bit and checked out some of their products. They had a decent selection, I guess. Nothing that particularly wowed me, but it was okay. I wandered around for a bit, swatched a few things, and eventually decided to get a new lip gloss I’d been eyeing.
I took it up to the counter to pay. The staff were friendly enough. The checkout process was smooth, and soon I was on my way.
After that, I figured I’d check out the other Sephora location in the Crystal Run Galleria at 1 N Galleria Drive since I was already in the area. I drove over, parked, and headed inside the mall.
This Sephora was a standalone store, and it was definitely bigger. It had a wider range of products, which was nice. I spent a little more time browsing in here, exploring different brands and checking out their displays.
I ended up grabbing a new foundation I’d wanted to try, along with a couple of sheet masks. The checkout process here was also smooth, no issues to report.
My Thoughts
- Sephora at Kohl’s
- Address: 470 Route 211 E, Middletown, NY 10940
- Hours: Generally 10:00 am to 9:00 pm most days, but Sundays were 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
- Vibe: It’s a standard Sephora inside a department store. Smaller selection, but convenient if you’re already shopping at Kohl’s.
- Sephora at Crystal Run Galleria
- Address: 1 N Galleria Drive, Middletown, NY 10941
- Hours: I didn’t write them down, but typical mall hours.
- Vibe: Bigger store, more products, more of a “full” Sephora experience.
Overall, both Sephora locations in Middletown were fine. Nothing extraordinary, but they get the job done if you need your beauty fix. If I had to pick one, I’d probably go back to the one in the Crystal Run Galleria just because it has a larger selection. But if you’re closer to the Kohl’s one and need something quick, it’s a decent option, too. Just your average, run-of-the-mill Sephora experience, really.
